CONS
====
- slow. its slower than my sony T7. the Olympus doesnt like rapid shooting. theres a 2-3 seconds delay in between taking photos.
- cannot zoom while recording video
- have to take battery out to charge it.
- can only record 10 seconds at VGA 30frames per second. unlimited time with lower settings.
- NO optical image stabilization!


summary

for $230, im gonna enjoy beating up this camera. you can take it anywhere and never have to carry a camera case around.

the video is crap. the resolution for filming is around 640x480.

already my camera is broken. im thinking of getting the sony tx5. not sure how durable that is

i mean, its SO annoying.

ill look for waterproof cameras on internet and not find what i want. id like a list of all of them but instead i have to look individualy in firms and stuff... so time-consuming.

so what i want is something which takes GOOD photos, a menu which permits me do that, not just holiday 40 year old couple taking pics of their kids kinda thing; for it to be possible to get it 10 METRES under water; and to have good QUALITY VIDEO...(hd?)

it records video for about 10 seconds on the highest resolution. the memory card is xD. but the package includes an adapter so you can use micro SD

you said only 10 seconds videos?...and with a bigger SD?...

digital zoom is not the same as optical zoom. this camera will not zoom optically while recording vids.

i just got this camera today - so excited. if you want to zoom while filming, turn on the digital zoom in the camera menu.
