@nextpaige32 I love this movie also for reasons that everyone could guess because unlike Francesa I opened the door and left! The hardest most heartwrenching decision that I ever made in my life! But I can truly say, I am now "living" not merely existing!

I admire Francesca and all those women that stay with their husband for the children and out of duty for I did not..I embraced "this kind of certainty does indeed come only once in a lifetime" and married him! I regret those that were hurt by my actions but this kind of happiness and love I have never known before...some may see me as selfish but I would give my very life for my children but I could not sacrifice or was unable to walk away from the love of a lifetime!

I remember reading the book whilst sunning myself on a little Greek Island about 18 years ago - and to this day it's still my favourite!

Clint why did you made this movie... I JUST LOVE IT SO MUCH THAT I CANT watch it :) And it's not just becouse of love story, it's something more... something that you can smell in the air when you watch this... something that cant be described with words... something that lives inside and dies with us...
