id preffer cool edit because its the easiest to use can somebody tell witch is better pro tools 8, cubase or cool edit...tell me if u know....but i preffer cool cuz the easiest to use......

@disciple21781 Oh yeah man sure will but I just got Studio One and that seems to take away a lot of my stress that I had with Pro Tools and even in reaper. But I will Check out Cubase I have the LE version. I like to know about all DAWstoo so I can be more effective...

@anytingtv cubase 5 has time stretching thats much better that elastic audio, check it out.

@diamondnelson get cubase 5, trust me. i just ditched pt8 for cubase, pro tools, is more like no tools

you dont need Protools. Everyone talks about it being standard, but other DAWs can work with any interface with way better A/D D/A's

@diamondnelson Pro tools was for mac os 9 and they stopped making it free.

Even if it's downloaded you won't be able to use it with out a digi design interface. So make sure you do and i guess there are plenty of torrent websites to help.
