why do so many people make such a big deal about her yelling at the guy during Gypsy?? I would have done the same thing...she is a genius actress singer and we're lucky to have her still performing brilliantly at 60.

HaHa....I just saw a Kathie Gifford CD in a thrift store....I guess that says it all.......Gifford isn't even in the same league as the great Patti Lupone!! Patti is a DIVA....Gifford is a dumb dot with a voice as gruff as a horse.

I'm picking up on a bit of hatred between Gifford and Ms. LuPone -- Gifford must be jealous, rightfully so we all should be. "You think Sondheim's the only genius in the theatre?" That is a very disrespectful and arrogant comment. KLG has a decent TV personality, but she is NOT a genius, theatre or otherwise. Man I want to slap her after watching this.
