  • @boxa888 Correction: cosmic rays were discovered in the 1950's using high altitude baloon experiments. He had a vague theory that you could accelerate atoms, however no prototypes were ever found upon examination of his belongings after his death.

  • Great job coughing into the camera microphone, asshole.

  • it has a a lecture in a saturday morning physics program for highschoolers. you aren't going to cover everything

  • nikola tesla was the first scientist to discover cosmic rays(1888-1901)he also has a patent on them first called radiant energy!, the same particles are being made in the particle accelerator, he was also able to utilize their energy for electrical purposes to light and move devices!, i put up videos how to make the device, he also made particle accelerators to show this by having the pieces of matter strike metal sheets and recordnign their impulse! this was 100 yrs ago, please look it up!

  • i worked on the Main ring and

    Tev during the 2001 shutdown,

    great place to work!

  • Way to miss out on the Cockroft and Walton Particle accelator! The first one to ever be made and work!!!
