Phoenician civilization was an enterprising maritime trading culture that spread across the Mediterranean during the first millennium BC, between the period of 1200 BC to 900 BC

  • i am beast

  • phoenicians are arab from island tarut

  • Couldn't it be possible that Phoenicians and Arabs are cousins to each other? That would be a pretty good reason for them looking alike.

  • @PhoenicianGoddess that is completety bias im not sure y but whats this obsession that christians are mainly only phoenecian when spencer wells shows that 34% of sunnis carrie j2 and 35%of maronites carry j2 so why arent sunnis added? and j1 is as high as 18%in maronites and 27%in sunnis wich obviously shows there both mixed with 18%of maronites j1.Also a prominent maronite by the name elie khoury has confessed from studies that sunnis have the highest rate of phoenician blood due 2 living coast

  • to make a dollar 0:55

  • @ZaphedBeebleBrox ...you should go preach tolerance in other islamic countries, particularly saudi arabia........all i see in the video is just another variety of arab, regardless of genetic makeup...phoenician tolerance is illustrated at 9:00

  • All I can sense from this quest for genetics is the stupid human obsession with racism. I wish we all come to understand that at our core, we are senciant creatures that can mate across races and produce offspring. To me a phoenician is the ultimate new yorker. Phoenicia was more tolerant and accomodating than the fuken america we know today. I live in USA now and this country cannot come close to what the phoenicians represented in civility and accomodation of other cultures. Viva tolerance.

  • The sea people are completely different from the phoenicians!

  • I'm sure they'll find that both sides of these conflicts have equal numbers of Phoenicians and non Phoenician, its what you would expect if you take the view that race has no effect at all on behavior. Scientific progress is never something to be avoided, and it rarely favors the kind of people who would strap bombs to themselves.

  • @AFRICA4AFRICANS yes,as in the purple dye they traded.
