The problem is there is no just in case. You either believe or you don't. If you don't believe it carrying around a cross and praising the lord's name every now and then shouldn't fool a divine being of what your actual beliefs are.

Man, everytime I see any debate about this I always just imagine movies where beings are sitting down talking about if all of there gods or the invisible pink unicorn exists and loves them. And the audience is just sitting snickering, thinking these people are so stupid to believe this stuff.
