@tonybonez and obviously still not a fair judgement- nor a good justification to be damned in hell for ETERNITY. A life time of non-faith is still not equated to ETERNITY. THAT is fact.

Only through faith can a person go to heaven and avoid hell.

@tonybonez I thought god was all loving- surely a loving creator would not damn a person to burn in hell for all eternity to equate to a life time.

Hell is unlikely to even exists. And if I were to "place my bet" on Jesus, wouldn't you think that an all-knowing and all-powerful God is capable of seeing through someone pretending to have faith, consequently punishing that person either way?
It's called Pascal's wager and it's one of the most ridiculous arguments to believe in the judeo-christian god.

The problem is there is no just in case. You either believe or you don't. If you don't believe it carrying around a cross and praising the lord's name every now and then shouldn't fool a divine being of what your actual beliefs are.
