how does it perform when riding with the sun behind you?

Does light stream from the rear view system into your eyes?

The sun is up in the sky, you're down on the Earth, it doesn't bother.

I think you may have misunderstood my question and I wasn't looking for a patronising answer.

I was wondering how the system works when riding due east, with the setting sun directly behind the rider. Like a commute from Parramatta in the west to Sydney in the east after work.

I understood it, I was trying to be funny. The light doesn't bother, for several reasons, the mirror is very small and narrow, it's not like a real glass mirror and you have to deliberately look up and the sun would have to be very low in the sky to reflect. It's just not a problem.

thats a really awesome helmet, good job on sticking the rear view in there, i would love to try this thing! a rear view would come in handy with traffic in china
