  • Never buy a helmet that dosent have double D ring fasteners

  • @mthoma3 I agree!

  • @mthoma3 My helmet has the double D rings, but I installed a quick-release buckle, which bypasses them. It's far more convenient, and the company that manufactured it claims that it can hold thousands of pounds. Is this unsafe? If so, why? Thanks.

  • @ScottsUtubeWorld I don't know if it's safe or not. But the double D-ring system is lightweight, has a very thin profile, is infinitely adjustable and has been proven for many years. It's an elegant design with no moving parts. It far outweighs any "quick release" advantage. Ask yourself this: which chin strap retainer system is used by motorcycle racers, who depend on their gear for safety? There's your answer.

  • but how can u see through the back glass if your head blocks it?

  • @MrMuscleMacho Read the webBikeWorld review to learn all about it!

  • Had mine now for just over 2 weeks and it's superb! Great quality helmet and i got used to the rear view vision system very quickly, love it! You really do just become aware of traffic behind you. There is no way i could go back to a normal helmet - my Shoei is now on ebay.

  • how much is it for $ ?

    thanks

  • I want one so I can convert the rear view system into a HUD.

  • @wbwvids not in greece dood! :p :p

  • @quicktrike09 do you not get a bit distracted and spend too much time looking behind you? i know i would lol

  • this is the Exact system that i desiged over 20 years ago, but didnt follow up with cos the field of vision would be to restricted for the rider, its far more effective to use a flexiable lightweight mirrored plastic mirror, like an internal wing mirror, and route it throught he helmet using optical grade fibre optics, that way you dont have a heavey mirror system inside the helmet, and you can bend the optics packs around the inside of the helmet without restrictions :)

  • getting one for christmas =)
