Here are some of the sauces I made. Tried to make a bunch of different styles. I've already cut out a few of these and kept my favorites for tweaking in the future.

Let me know if you have questions.

  • Hey these people were trying to help you out! You seem like an intelligent guy. do some research on what you eat and "vote" for better quality with your 14 dollars at the market! We all assume these companies wouldn't sell us such crap food, but they are in it for the $ not for your health. I am just a prejudice vegan though.

I have been experimenting with bbq sauces as well....yumm

Great work in the garden! You really seem excited about your veggies!

  • Are you talking about the Food Inc movie comment? Walmart doesn't bother me. I appreciate you watching though.

  • WHAT!!!!NO TEXAS STYLE. Nice collection of sauces. I'll send you over 1 to try

  • Hahaha! After testing for a few weeks and a few dozen recipes I now have 2 sauces that I make all the time. A tomato based and a mustard based, both use cider vinegar and apple juice then either tomato paste or mustard with other spices.

I'm always looking to try new things so send it over :)

  • Hi 14dollarz,

Love your garden series and now your really interesting videos on smokers. Your food looks so tasty.

I see you buy Smithfield Foods, I would recommend that you watch Food Inc.

  • I do sometimes. I'm not particular to any grocery store or food brand. I know which movie you are talking about. Sorry, but this isn't the place for a food politics discussion :).

Just wanting to show my journey through barbecue.

  • lol! sorry man. I forgot to rate your videos. Going back through them

  • My recipe is pretty simple: 2 or 3 cupsketchup, a half cup or so of mustard, couple tsp worcestershire sauce, few drips lemon juice, some brown sugar, spices as you like. I like to let it get a little crisp on the grill. It's too sweet for some people, but I like it. I have no clue what regional style that is if any, but I do know it doesn't match the heavy mustard Georgia style where I grew up. I'll have to ask my dad why the "family" recipe is different from the mainstream in our area.

  • @nkey01

yep. you should definitely see food inc.
