I saw your video in 2009 and it was the most helpful video out there. I have since fixed many of my lady friend's toilets and saved them some money. I'm glad your video is still up. Thank you for the great instruction. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

I have recently changed my flapper on my toilet because you would have to hold the handle down to flush. After that you still have to hold down the handle. I have made the chain as short is possible with out the chain being so short it holds the flapper open!! any suggestions??

I'm not sure what type of flapper you are using...I like "Bullseye" flappers. Try buying a flapper called a "Dial-a-flush". Its around $5.00 and allows you to control how long the flapper stays open by turning a dial on the top of the flapper. The higher the number the more air escapes from the flapper and the faster is falls back down. It will solve your problem.
