Despite the cover from a week ago, I didn't sing much lately. So this was supposed to be an easy introduction to find my voice again. Not there yet, but I thought I'd share it with you. It seems to fit at least with the singing style of Marc Brierley.
A short folk song found on his selftitled EP from 1966. Wanted to play it for a long time now anyway.

I still have a cover of one of Kelli Rudicks songs here to upload, maybe I'll get to that in a week or so.

  • About Arctic City

In the shadows of my memory it is the winter of '65. With a single candle to warm our hands, I see three faces. One of them is Sandy. Teenage, friendly, rounded features, illuminated further by the sharp inhalation and the brighter glow. She was a girl who left her home; she took her singing voice with her. I catch the spark and let it fly. Mixing fiction with fact, I see a story unfold which could be her it could be you. Am I the only shadow left who knows?

What I've heard of "Hello" is great

it's strange, on one of the video's of Kelli I saw someone who said in their words

    "i never seen her smile

she's way better than justing biber or lady gaga"

and i woner - what has one thing to do with the other?

probably if she smiled more she would sound even better
