Power Rangers: Wrath of Lord Zedd - Mini-Episode 5 (1 of 2)

Part 1 of 2.

(Despite my best laid plans, I was forced to split this mini-episode into two parts due to it being longer than I anticipated and Youtube's size constrictions. The second part should be up by the end of tomorrow.)

The fifth part in a Power Rangers fan movie created entirely by using clips and sound bites from the television show, and also employing a fair bit of editing adeptness on my part.

His morpher taken by Goldar and three of his best friends murdered, Jason must take up the heavy mantle of leadership of the hastily assembled group of ranger teams to counter the threat of Lord Zedd as he descends on Angel Grove in Serpentera. But out-manned and out-gunned by Zedd's alliance and interference from the Evil Empress, do they really stand a chance?

Just to anticipate people's questions and concerns, I've taken the liberty of stating the following:

Do not pester me on the morphing sequence and how I do not show all the individual teams striking their morphing poses, nor how they do not do the cliche group pose that causes an inexplicable massive explosion behind them. These things are campy, which is everything this scene is not. Unlike every other ranger team-up, this alliance certainly does not have the upper hand against Lord Zedd in this case, and thus it is meant to be terse and desperate.

Besides, if that many teams did a group pose, it is likely all of Angel Grove would explode behind them.

The Emo Rangers simply have a large curtain of darkness surrounding their Emo Megazord at all times. Do not question it.

Yes, Jason is piloting the Red Dragon Megazord even though he is not morphed. If Alpha could do it in Power Rangers in Space, so could Jason.

No really, in the only full morphing sequence for the Alien Rangers that doesn't show them simultaneously, Delphie does not call out her color unlike the other Alien Rangers.

I like Adam's new morphing sequence, but it would be very inconsistent with the rest of his team, so I used the old one.

There is no footage that actually shows the Alien Rangers piloting the Shogun Megazord. Therefore, unlike the other Ranger Teams who are simply shown already piloting their zords, I show the Alien Rangers calling out for theirs just so people won't be confused as to who is piloting the Megazord.

Actually, no. They're supposed to be two different creations conjured up by Rita to rain down destruction from outer space. As always, I'm limited by the amount of footage that exists when I try to portray these things. Both are destroyed at the same time by the Astro Megazord.
