Then they discontinued it after leaving Oasys owners abandoned out to dry with no news, no updates, nothing but silence for over a year. Blaming "global economic crisis" then releasing more updates for M3, new stage pianos etc

Odd, the "crisis" doesn't effect those items.. or warrant discontinuation of other less superior products..

I'd be PISSED if I sank some $9000+ into that thing on the promise of 'continuous future upgrades" only to have it discontinued a mere few years after release

NOT an impressive instrument at all according to KORG themselves. They used real accoustics instrument recordings and added them in their Demo's "to make it sound convincing'. Dont trust my word on this: look at their comments yourself in the Peter Schwartz discussion on his composition for OASYS - "Sinfonia Russe".. (@ the korg site GUYS).
