If the braking and acceleration are being measured by GPS or onboard acclerometers (which is it?) the acceleration readings will tend to be much lower than the braking. Remember the car takes a lot longer to go from 0-60 than it does to go from 60-0.

yeah that's what it is...if it was hooked up w/ the ECU it would give more accurate readouts...i mean gps is only good to a point

Data logging ...hmm, just wondered why you were on the brakes so much when you should have been on the throttle?

Very nicely made video. Only why is the audio so incredible shitty when youve put so much effort in datalogging etc.? Too bad.

heh, it's just one of those things that worked before, but this time didnt. And there was no way to save the sound when we watched the video at home. Next time we'll use a different mic! Check out the 'ring videos from '06 and hopefully you will notice the improvement (but that year the datalogger failed us.. doh!)

hm? Not me driving. But you might be confusing the throttle release/engine braking with actual braking with the pedal. When you release the throttle it will result in negative accelleration as the car will be going slower. The Brake/Accel is measured by G-forces and are not wired to the car ECU.
