The quality of this video is so bad I can't even see the advertisement of the video recording company on the top right screen.

Kissin must have won over a lot of critics with this performance. Brilliant.
However, I still prefer Horowitz's explosive performances from the 1930s and 1940s.
The shortened cadenza that Horowitz played in 1943 (I think) is like a nuclear bomb going off. Horowitz chords and octaves up and down the keyboard are legend.

Great playing, horrible sound/video quality, and Kissin certainly has Rachmaninov sized hands (lucky!!)....

Out of all the versions i've heard, this is probably the best

I truly and honestly believe that Evgeny Kissin is one of the greatest pianists ever. He has an amazingly unique presence at the piano, so relaxed, confident and simply genius. Truly inspiring I become so amazed everytime i see him play.

Not alot of painists got the balls to play the Ossia Cadenza .
One of the most intriguing cadenza played by one of the top virtuoso pianists ... it doesn't get any better than this!!
