  • Never a mention about using a pre-luber before stating the engine, and how it contributes to engine longevity. Oh well.

  • @seapeddler The diesels move so much oil at start up a pre luber will only have value on a truck that sits for long periods of time.

  • What is the general cost to pull the engine out of the truck rebuild it and have it put back in? All I can say is if my 6.0 goes F.U.B.A.R it's getting shipped from New Hamphire to Georgia!

  • @MrKtm603 Please call 770-931-4070 when it happens. Our prices are usually about 80% of Ford dealer.

  • @kubotaboy123 It is probably time for some new injectors but I'd have to see it to be sure.

  • I heard the black onyx headgaskets were crap and that the oem was the way to go..??

  • @fordpowerstroke2012 You will need to go to the Powerstrokehelp website, subscribe to the Master Mechanic's series and follow the procedures exactly to ensure success in this project. I get several 6.0s a month that folks have started on, only to get in too deep.

  • Hey, i just bought my first 2005 f350 3 months ago and the other day i took off the egr valve and noticed it was damp inside so im assuming that either the oil cooler or egr cooler is failing or has failed. Now im going to follow your advice cuz i trust you more then anyone else when it comes to the 6.0 and im going to bulletproof my engine but my question is when reinstalling the heads to i have to get decked? before i install them with the new arp studs and head gaskets any help would be great

  • @thedieselman78 that may be true but it is a significantly larger engine that would have required reengineering the cab.
