It's as if they are playing "at" the music, not part of the music. This sounds nice, but it doesn't transport back in time. It doesn't make me think of fair maidens or castles. It's just...lacking.
PATHETIC!!! How do they dare to be called "1700 Barock Ensemble"? No idea, No concept, Nor attitude towards the baroque music (not to speak about the instruments)
i guess, this is a pretty old recording (the harpsichord comes from the 70ies or 60ies of the last century!).
this video could be already a "historic" document, showing that costumes were a more important part of a interpretation of baroque music than periodic instruments or HIP ;-))) .
Unfortunately, despite the nice period costumes, the instruments themselves are quite modern. It's a baroque-dressed ensemble, but not a baroque ensemble.
