Have you seen the petition against poisoning eagles in Eire, on The Golden Eagle Trust website? Sea-eagles were reintroduced to Scotland after centuries of persecution eradicated them there. They are being poisoned again in Scotland (law-suit in progress). Eagles of both sorts reintroduced from Scotland (and Norway) are poisoned in Ireland. Help to change this barbaric way of thinking and please sign the petition and spread the word. Thanks on behalf of these magnificent birds.

Agree totally with martinmedeski.I Live in Essex and have been fortunate enough to see a juvenile both in Norfolk and one passing over my head by sher luck in my home town .These farmers are mis-guided and instead of trying to stop the re-introduction of these stunning birds maybe they should concentrate on the noise that Apache Helicopters make when they fly over their livestock.

where i live in Suffolk (east england) the RSPB are trying to reintroduce sea eagles also. Local farmers aren't up for it and there are No To Sea Eagles signs everywhere. Personally i'd love to have these birds flying around.

Also went to Mull to see them, first spotted one on top of a tree beside a small loch, watched it at close range and it eventually flew right over my head at maybe 20 meters above, was lucky enough to see them on a few different occassions and different days. i was just mesmerised by its size and the width of it's wings. Also saw Golden Eagles on that same trip, and the Sea Eagle at close range was the highlight.
