my mum used to have this on a cassette when i was young. i can't say i understood the beauty of his recitation then, but watching this video now made me realise how much importance sometimes gets placed on external appearances. he's not got a beard, is wearing a suit, and yet recites the quran with a grace and elegance that few could compete with. subhanallah.
