  • If weller had reformed with rick and bruce im sure football stadiums could of been filled over and over, however he chose not to.I have seen weller a few times and the majority of the crowd want jam songs and not his own(my opinion) bland stuff.Hats off to russell for filling what was an almost impossible task and anyone who says its shit, listen and close your eyes.WE ARE THE MODS,WE ARE THE MODW,WE ARE WE ARE WE ARE THE MODS

  • AMAZING, i would rather this guy front the band now them Weller, reason being if it was Weller he would never sing with the aggression this guy does (its like the Jam in 1979!) and if Weller fronted them they would play crap stadiums!

  • whoever dislikes this is simply retarded

  • Thank god Paul Weller bowed out on this one. Would've sucked to hear shmaltzy acoutic versions of these great songs. Saved the cost of putting the drummer in a glass sound-cage, and getting a bidet installed in the dressing room too!

  • @uhhuhohyeah1234 karaoke imitation- wellers recent eton rifles and thats entertainment versions blow these out of the water- hastings is good but its kind of sad to me to see this set stuck in time with nothing new to offer!

  • not bad but all those knocking weller are kidding themselves- first of all im glad the jam never reformed - the gift was a great album and wellers solo stuff for the most part has been pretty good and sometimes great! do you really want a 50 year old singing youth anthems- move on remember the jam as they were and what they always will be! One of the best - i love foxton but he needs to move on!

  • If i cosed my eyes and listened i swear i would be listenening to paul...well done on a good choice boys!!!!!

  • Seen the at Shepherds Bush last night, they were great, had an amazing time and so did everyone else. I seen the Jam back in the day and they were starting to lose there way, Beat Surrender is a crap song and didn't deserve to be a number one. From The Jam are at least playing the songs that eveyrone loved the Jam for. Long may thet continue, Wellers solo stuff at the moment is shit, after Stanley Road the rest is crap.

  • Lets face it this is pub rock. Its just a tribute band now, Weller was the talent and Buckler and Foxton were mediocrities(how many songs did they write?) who have made a living offf that talent. As for Russell and Mr personality well those two- J'accuse - its like the emperors new clothes there is nothing there no talent no nothing. You have jumped on the bangwagon for an ego trip at our expense guys and you have been found out,you are nothing to do with the Jam.

  • Great gig, sounds very much like Weller

  • shame that it couldnt be all the original guys but unfortunately paul just aint got it anymore, but its great brucie and rick are still going at it, fairplay to em
