  • I recommend completely taking off the 2nd tooth from the pick up on the piston, and partially shaving (about half) off the 3rd tooth. Completely shaving off the 3rd tooth is overkill, even if you put a spacer on the cylinder head to correct the angle of engagement (aoe). This way, more gears are engaged, and there will be less stress on the pick up tooth of the piston, by the sector gear.

  • @marknano Yup, but remember that I made this video 3 years ago. I've considered updating this guide for the very reason you just explained.

  • Wait, Did u shave off 4 teeth or only 2, and which part of my sector gears would I shave off?

  • @ccommpputter Just 2, the other 2 were for the angle of engagement.

  • Don't you have to take teeth out of the gear too.

  • @kdash0213 Yes.

  • @Maddafakka98 Prevents premature engagement of the piston. It rises the rof only very little.

  • what does a shortstroke do ?

does it make a higher rof?

  • Makiii. what do you think about the "Azimuth 14 metal tooth piston"

  • @xbabydboiex Yes, that is reguired for correction of angle of engagement
