  • Turbo charged and on racing tires, so he had more grip than I did too. What are you driving?

  • Looks like fun, I don't live more then 30min from the tack yet I have only been to the gate. I need to finish my car and go racing!

  • Hey, I like your Volvo! :)

  • We were at my sister's for TG so I couldn't make it to Road Atlanta. Doesn't sound like I missed much. We did go to VIR with Chin the weekend before though, and that was a lot of fun.

  • Where in NC? VIR is in VA, just over the border (near Milton) and is an awesome track. Lowes Motor Speedway in Charlotte is an option. They are building a new track near Spencer that is supposed to open next year, too.

  • Hey thanks its not done yet but almost ;) So far all poly bushings, Bilstein HD Shocks, lowering springs, 15G turbo, turbo cam, SS brake lines, T5 Ford transmission, MegaSquirt, 2.5in all the way back, rebuild head, turbo block with oil squirts and a few more things that I cannot think of right now. I cannot wait to finish it and take it to road atlanta!

  • yeah, i live in nc.

    know anywhere?

  • sigh....type R

  • If this is a drag race then I really have no idea since I don't drag. On a road course you should have no problem absolutely destroying him.

  • It depends on the track and on the club running the event. VIR with Porsche club was about $250 for the weekend. Watkins Glen with Chin Motorsports was closer to $600. Generally, these events are on the weekend and run from about $200 up. The most expensive one I've seen was for $600. There are occasionally one-day events that are a little cheaper.
