Aztlan never reached the Southwestern U.S., it was only the Yucatan and Central America. It never reached anywhere near that far north. If its Mexican territory well you gotta realize the U.S. defeated Mexico. Created a treated that gave that land to the U.S. and was paid for by the U.S. Also, the U.S. did capture the capital of Mexico and willingly gave it back instead of just annexing Mexico. If you guys put this much fervor in into building infrastructure for Mexico it would boom.
