  • Mickey Mouse dice en inglés: "Hi, Mary Poppins!" (¡Hola, Mary Poppins!) al final. Lindo, ¿no?

  • @bluebettle He saved Disney from corporate raiders who wanted to buy it cheap and tear it apart, yes. No one will take that away from him. But in restructuring the company post-1984, he tore the soul out of the operating philosophy that Walt Disney built the company on. There's nothing funamentally wrong with what Eisney did in terms of an entertainment corporation, but it bears no resemblance to the way in which the man they pretend to idolise and celebrate operated. Aaaaaaaand breathe!

You know, Eisner deserves a lot of flack, but he's also the guy who re-built up Disney after Walt died.

And I find him kinda charming in a soulless-corporate-zombie sort of way.

  • I always loved the title card with the camera being above Spaceship Earth while looking on toward the Magic Kindgom. Fantastic.

  • I forgot how much Fantasyland changed in the 80s.

  • I remember this intro so vividly from my childhood.
