The point isn't to put on exciting fights. It's not an MMA promotion. It's training so these guys know what to do on the battlefield in close quarters and don't have to resort to lethal force.

@nick0884 Actually most of these guys are doing MMA, and I can guarantee you that any fighter you see on TV is probably not an actor. I rolled with Chael Sonnen last week at Team Quest Tualatin, and he is a fucking beast. That skinnier black guy with the blue belt, near the start of the clip? 1st SGT Marques Daniels, MMA practitioner, and the recruiter who got me into the service. Most of what you see here is MMA. Don't dis.

@jjpc225 I'm assuming here, but I think it helps the judges keep score. So instead of having to know every name, they can score red or blue.

Been doing MMA for a while, but you guys are exceptionally inspirational to watch. Not gonna lie, big fan of MCMAP, but even bigger fan of anyone with the courage to put his/her life on the line for our freedom. Thank you all!
