  • SHIP 3 SALUTE BOBOT (BATO)

Ireneo Caritero, better known in Philippine drum corps scene as "Bobot"

recently passed away. A vintage Ship 3 (Trozo) member (years 1960s-1970s),

Bobot became the spark plug of the Antipolo Drum & Bugle Corps

which he helped organized after retiring from Ship 3 many years ago.

  • A born leader, Bobot lead the Antipolo DBC to heights of success

by winning scores of championship titles in drum corps competitions.

For a job well-done, the Ship 3 DBC Alumni Association salutes Bobot

and extends its condolences to his family.

  • balak ko sana gumawa ng thesis tungkol dito pero mukhang mahihirapan ako kasi wala pang established na account tungkol dito but i noted all your info that you have given to me. mas ok sana kung may nagsulat na ng libro tungkol sa drum corps sa pinas para at least we have the sense of history.

  • Troop 4 according to my dad was from Manila based YMCA (Young Man's Christian Association).
