what evidence do u have to support that argument?

I stand corrected – he gives a pretty fair assessment at ~25:00.

This moderator is the scumbag corporate whore who was on the Dr. Oz show defending GMOs against Jeffrey Smith. I like a lot of things about Michael Pollan a lot, but he's curiously averse to talking about GMOs. One has to wonder…

agribusiness? more like FAGribusiness

@72bbuck This is a joke right?

To really learn about Michael Pollan's motivation, read My 2 Gardens May 13 1991 Forbes magazines which talks about the conflict between his mother's father (his maternal grandfather) and his father which involved vegetable gardening and lawns. He may have subconciously turned this childhood conflict into his zeal into changing the agricultural world which he has no practical experience. He is an entertaining and witty writer who is Michael J Fox's brother-in-law though.

I AM A FARMER. Im tired of being called polluter,I have never seen the back lash against agriculture that there is today.I am stupid, curatoir of monster plants, cussed for driving large equipment on the road,a mean employer that underpays his help and minupulates poor Mexicans, and now responsible for the nations obessedy.Ive packed the world on my back while trying to feed my family and yours.I would like to be apart of youre discussion but then again im stupid. you may find yourself inlightened
The message here is that agribusiness is the problem, not the farmer. I have found Micheal Pollan to defend the traditional role of farming-to turn away from big agribusiness to give profitability & control back to the farmer while restoring health, economy and control of resources to civilians. He stresses that we need to change the system that oppresses & manipulates farmers & the public. Buying locally supports farmers & takes control of our health & consumer rights.
