Queer people in Brisbane have seen the need for change, for something new, and they have worked out how to bring these changes about.
From the early 60s to the present day, people have forced laws and attitudes to change, thrown parties including the longest running queer party in the world, the annual Queens Ball, starting in 1961. They've also created festivals, art, music, performance and a vibrant, constantly evolving culture.
Hear their stories, see their results, and maybe learn how to do it yourself!
