  • @EduardoTucciDrums On what website now?

  • @Mattris Is it the same that I found out in his website? With the 11:8 polyrhythm and 19:16 polyrhythm.

  • @drummer4hire12 Possibly. Gotta find it first, and do something about my scanner. I usually have to use someone else's computer to scan stuff because, although the printer/fax/scanner works fine, the software has never worked for the scanner on the computer I normally use. I'd like to ok it with Mr. Mangini, but he's changed his email & phone # & I no longer see his profile on facebook (either he disabled it or he blocked me, but I doubt he'd do the latter). It's handwritten by Mike himself.

  • @Mattris would you like to share that transcription?

  • @Mattris I listened to it through speakers and then headphones and it's definately more noticeable when it's going straight into the cranium :) using Mike's NQD it matched up a few of the beats got away from me but when I found my way back It lined up :)

  • I can't even tell you how long I've been trying to find this song Thank you

  • I don't know what the commentator before me meant by there being "not one poly-rhythm the entire song". I own a copy of the original drum transcription, handwritten xeroxed & given to me by the man (Mike Mangini) himself, & I assure you that not only are there many polyrhythms in the piece, they are some of the more extravagant ones i've heard on any contemporary prog-instrumental piece. It's also one of the most challenging drum pieces I've ever so much as attempted to learn. It was all in the

  • i remember Mike Mangini talking about this song in Modern Drummer magazine, about playing humanly impossible 11/13 poly-rhythms and stuff... finally hear the song, not ONE poly-rhythm the enitre song, LOL!

  • interdimensional tubular sausage like strangelets and national zionist portals at dawn for all!
