@DEADLOK69 I read somewhere that there was to be cameo appearance of Ugly Betty of Columbia but something happened with that. There is, however, a video clip on "you tube" that shows Lety made an cameo apperance on the Ugly Betty series in the United States.

@manhosa13 There is something that I cannot understand. We have seen motion pictures based from TV series and other older movies. If they can do cameos on the motion pictures, well here is an interesting question.

How come not have some of the original Colombian cast do some cameos in the Mexican version?

Love this clip thank you. This is a very sweet novela. I am hooked on Jaime Camil only because he reminds me of a man who keeps me smiling from Paris. They look so much a like and it gives me the chills. The first time that I saw Jaime I almost fell down. It was just like looking at Adel. Interesting to say the least Jaimes father is of Egyptian descent. This is why these two men look so much a like. I know Jaime Federico Said Camil de Saldaña da Gama is Mexican but his roots are sexy. WOW!

I'm Mexican, but I think the Colombian version is way much better than the Mexican version. There is a channel in here 'amoabetty' (Ilovebetty) where you can see the whole Colombian version, plus the sequel of it called ECOMODA, which they are broadcasting right now in USA. Bad thing is in Spanish though. Hope you have time to watch it and like it :)

BTW, I didn't watch the Russian version lol!

Yes, the Russian version "Ne Rodis Krasivoy" - Be not born beautiful, was produced in 2005 with Nelli Uvarova as Ekatereina Pushkereva and Grigoriy Antipenko as Andrey Zhdanov.

This is the Mexican version (La fea mas bella - the prettiest ugly) of the Colombian original (Yo soy Betty la fea - I'm Betty, the ugly).
