Howdo. I think our furthest was the Manningtree effort, which saw The Mouseketeers tackle over 230 miles, but the camera never made it along to that one.
Full charge for these batteries seems to go for around 500 frames in normal usage, and up to 1000 in timelapse (the savings being that the display is hardly ever lit). This was set to fire every 80secs, as I figured 1000 would see us to the 22 hour mark (roughly when we expected to roll home).
220 miles in a day!!! I'm impressed. Still loving the time lapse vids. (especially the Brighton beach stop part) Shame about the batteries, was that on a full charge? I'd love one of these cameras.
Unfortunately, the handlebar mount I was using (liberal application of electrician's tape) didn't stop the headset pushing
) all manner of buttons on the camera, so the display kept lighting up. Hence it died well before I checked it that evening. I had a spare battery with me too, more's the pity :)
I'm really pleased with the cam though. Waterproof, timelapse, and good batteries make it a thing of great joy.
You have to be inventive when mounting normal cameras to bikes imo. Customise a cheap camera bag and make it into a caddy and hang it off part of the handlebars, etc.
