I had the opportunity of meeting Mr.Bob Peter when I was a young man working at The Bay through a temp agency during summer between college. I thought he was a nice guy and funny man.

This policy is the most ridiculous policy that cheapskate customers took to their advantage! I worked at the Bay and, wow, what people would return! We'd have to happily accept the items and give them an exchange or their money back. It was ridiculous. And I'm talking items that were decades old. The worst thing we had to take back was a decade old bath mat with used feminine products stuck all over it - bleh. "Customer is always right"! Yuck! ha ha

I'm glad there are channels such as this one. Not only does it give a glimpse into the past, but it brings back nostalgia for those that lived during these times and also preserves the past in a digital form for as long as there is the internet. To you, RetroOttawa, RetroNewfoundland, and any other channels such as this, I salute you all.
