Most people have heard the sirens and pulled over so emergency vehicles could get by, but what is it like from inside a fire truck? Ride along with us on June 23rd, 2009 as we respond mutual aid to an alarm in Winooski, Vermont.

  • Nice airhorn work Cap, looked ike there was a door ajar the whole way to the sceen if thats what that flashing red light under the vent means

  • @mattsa860 Actually that light is a malfunctioning "compartment ajar" warning. Been that way for some time.

  • Now that guy know's how to work a horn!!!

  • @bobcats330 ohhh lol i just learned something new and i know a lot about air brakes n trucks n stuff lol thanks

  • @RepoDennis13 No theyre the same system. Actually there is two air brake systems if I remeber right, ones the service brake and the other is the parking brake. But the horn works off of one of the tanks.

  • @hvjcvhfjv lol, well when you have SPACE cadets driving cars listening to their headfones or ipads on max, oblivious to everything to the extent they run thru red lights- ya NEED the air horn coming up on cross streets and intersections!

  • Jesus Christ, lay off the airhorn! Half the time there was nobody in front of you. That was completely unnecessary. There is a right way and a wrong way to utilize the horn and that wasn't it. If the cars are already out of your way, why blast them? Use the horns when a car is failing to yield or you are going through an intersection. All you gotta do is a few taps to get people's attention. No reason to swing from the chain to the entire call.

  • OH THTS MY BDAY!!!!!!XD

  • tht is the most polite dispatcher i have ever heard! hahaha

  • do u guys use GPS

  • @211engine i thought the air horns and air brake system have different air tanks
