  • I don't understand this kind of comments "tool". it's his car, let the guy have some fun. the car has its limitations but it is fun to drive and managed to go through. if he got stuck somewhere else, i am sure he managed to get out. and surely had fun. maxtrax kit helps...LOL. Well done. I can't wait to take my Exxy to Fraser is.

  • No prep, no mods, no idea, no recovery gear, no idea how to drive, wouldnt listen to our experiance and knowledge..............

Id have to agree with the term put forth of "TOOLS".

"TOOLS" As in someone who has a very low I.Q.

As for Xtrail getting that far he must have some good luck!!!

  • When will people learn that subarus, x trails, rav 4s, c7/5, x5, q7/5 and touregs are meant for parking on the grass at the kids soccer game on the weekend. And thats all

  • In the right hands the x trail can do alot more then ppl think

  • Funny how some calling this guy a tool with a low IQ can't even spell. Having had both soft roaders (including x-trail) and proper 4 wheel drive vehicles, I can testify that the x-trail is very, very capable, especially in sandy conditions due to it's light weight. Yes, it does not have low range or good clearance but I am sure this guy could do this track all day long without any problems. He had fun, good for him and doing the x-trail proud. Great little 4wd's ...with luck on their side.

  • I wonder if this guy got lucky!

The X-trail is a soft roader with 'low' ground clearance. He cannot drive this the same way as a full time 4x4. . . He would have to stay on the higher soft sands (unlike 'regular' 4x4's). If he gets in a track he will bottom out and get stuck.

This driver seems to know that and, with success, traverses the ruts and gets to the top. . .

And lets face it, its only Fraser. Help is always nearby!!!!

  • if this guy was a "tool" and wouldn't listen to helpfull hints then it just shows that an 'Exxy' is at least in some ways capable.

still no excuse for no prep work!

  • @Reddogg1984 ......I agree his is a Tool who would not have had a strap and probably had 36psi in the tyres !

Funny to watch all the same..!!

  • haha what tools. i bet they got stuck again sumwhere else!
