@daveygz if it was a complete straight way like the autobahn......i think the corvette will be hauling the dodge ram's ass for like a mile long!

@7150285 I agree. If they were running along a long course I do think the vette would have the advantage. In the 1/4 the diesel trucks torque curve really gives them the advantage; More torque at lower revs plus you've got the turbo spooling away under there.

Put the "whoop ass" on the Corvette? Hardly, it beat the Corvette by .35 of a second. The Corvette time is a stock time for a Corvette Z06 based on the elevation and time. That Dodge was definitely NOT stock.
No disrespect to the Dodge a win by a margin of less than half a second is hardly whoopin ass on the Corvette.

I agree. defintley not "whoop ass", and Matt's dodge wasn't stock. But an interesting pairing never the less.
