No to civil unions? Wtf? I'm gay. I don't need it to be called "marriage." I don't understand the "need" of others for it to be so. But, NOT IN FAVOR OF CIVIL UNIONS??? Marriage is not defined by religion. It has four disctinct and valid meanings.
America is governed by the Constitution.
Christianity is governed by the Bible.
Council of Churches and Episcopal Bishops of Northern California Support the overturn of Prop 8. Legal briefs were filed today declaring Prop 8, "unconstitutional and discriminatory."
It's Mitt Romeny's duty as a public servant to uphold the Constitution not proselytize a personal belief system.
