The statistics vary but typically in car + bike two vehicle accidents the car driver is found at fault 67% of the time, so this speaks better of motorcyclists than your comment does (Just clarifying, I understand your point). However, bikes suffer from a LOT of single vehicle accidents which aggravates authorities.
