May 23, 2009. A delegation from Vermont Thunder, made up of Combat Veteran Riders and Patriot Guard Riders, and the local Harley Owners Group present Mr. White with a Certificate of Appreciation for his support of our Freedom of Speech. The certicate reads:

Vermont Thunder is an Annual event held on Memorial Day weekend. Many groups converge from all across New England to attend.
The ride begins at the Vermont Vietnam Veterans Memorial Welcome Center (SHARON) NORTH of EXIT 1, on I-89. Bikes will begin staging at 9:00 and a wreath laying ceremony will take place at 11 A.M. The ride follows I-89 north to St. Albans, and ends with another ceremony at Enosburgh Falls, VT.
All times are approximate so arrive early for this once a year spectacle as 100s of motorcyclist from all over New England, take time to HONOR OUR FALLEN BROTHERS AND SISTERS and bring attention to those STILL MIA / POW.
Even if you don't ride you can still SHOW YOUR SUPPORT and remember what MEMORIAL DAY is for!!!!
Bring your flags, chairs, gramps, grandma and the kids!! Line the highways, bridges and streets.
