I stood there shocked. I stared at him and realized he was being serious

"W-what do y-you mean u-us?" I asked hesitantly. He sighed and moved closer to me
"Shaii, I like you," he said. I scoffed
"Yea right, you made it clear to me yesterday that you didn't like me and you never would." I said getting in his face. He looked at me and then at my lips. He leaned in more and I pushed him back
"Don't try to kiss me!" I spat
"I can't help it...I like you!"
"No you don't!"
"How are you going to tell me whether I like you or not!?" he asked
"Because, why all of a sudden do you like me. We've never had an actual conversation until I started tutoring you. Before all you did was hit on me and in middles school we never talked...not even ONCE!"
"Does that bother you?" I heard the teacher say. Both Daniel and I snapped our heads in her direction
"What?" I asked confused
"You said you guys never actually had a real conversation till a few days ago. Then you said you never even talked ONCE in middle school. So I'm asking does that bother you." Mrs. J asked. I looked at her shocked
"What no, just because we didn't talk in middle school does not bother me," I said
"Okay well what about now?" Daniel asked
"What do you mean now?"
"Us not talking now that we're in high school, does that bother you?"
"N-no, I mean...no, why would it. I had John up until yesterday," I smirked and crossed my arms
"Yea, but you also said you were falling for me yesterday," he said returning the smirk. I uncrossed my arms and looked at him
"I-I di-,"
"Don't say you didn't say it because you know you did,"
I stood there not knowing what to say
"Well Shaii, did you say that?" Mrs. Jackson asked. Ugh lady, stay out of this. I turned to look at her
"Well...," I started then she gave me that look. I sighed, "Yes, I said it, but-,"
"No buts, you said it," Daniel said.
"I was talking to Mrs. Jackson not you," I spat
"But you were talking about me. Look I like you and you like me so what's the issue?"
"Daniel you can't just say you like me and expect me to fall into your arms
"Every other girl does," he said. I gave him that "Really look"
"You really don't get it do you?" I asked looking at him
"What?" he asked confused
"Daniel, I'm not like all those other hoes you hook up with. I'm not just going to fall at your knees when you want me too. You called me a hoe. Do I really come across like all of those other girls that throw themselves at you? Is that how you see me? If it is then I'm surprised you haven't cuffed one of them yet. We're all the same right, we're all hoes right," I waited for him to answer but, he just stood there staring at me. "Exactly, you have yet to realize that not every girl has to like you. Not every girl is what you say they are, because I am nowhere near a hoe or even anything close."
I turned to the teacher and she was standing, looking between the both of us. Nosey much?
"So I'm guessing you won't be tutoring Mr. Simmons anymore?" she asked
"Look, I'm sorry but I don't think it will be good for us...well for him." I said
"I understand I'll find someone else, thanks though. You two are free to go." Mrs. J said sitting back down
I turned to Daniel and sighed. I shook my head then walked past him and out of the class room.

So what now Diggy...and omg it is so weird calling him Daniel all the time. Ugh Shaii call him Diggy...please!
