Adorava quando chamava o robô de "lata de sardinha" na dublagem em português ! Embora fosse muito simpático e comunicativo na vida real, sua voz dublada e português é perfeita para o personagem Dr.Smith! Faleceu em 3 de novembro de 2002 em Encino na California. Quanta saudade...

@nenzi671 I felt that way too about him.I would get upset.Still I would run home from school, hoping maybe they would one day make it home. I had a Geography teacher at Givins senior high in Toronto, Mr. Welaousky (?), who reminded me of him.At that time, I still was watching the reruns, so you can imagine that I never took him seriously.Later on, I did do very well in Geography.As time went by, I grew to have fond memories of him, just like Dr. Smith...I remember him often : )TheLisbonGirl

his voice in portuguese was much better and funny than his real voice

Smith always messed things up and sold them out to the aliens. In real life they would have killed him. :)

I miss him. Looks like a wonderful human being.
But we'll always have episodes of LIS--but he's not a wonderful human being there! ha, ha!
