  • Alexander this stupid idiot destroyed the most biutifull palace of this time!

  • Alexander, who admired Cyrus, acted akin to Xerxes when he burned Persopolis. While still great for many reasons, he is dwarfed by Cyrus in greatness.

  • Alexander the Gay, not the great.

  • we clearly have to learn from the humanitarian past of this great empire... and its disastrous end, too.

  • When Kourosh-E-Bozorg (Cyrus the Great) takes a shit, that is called Alexander the Macedonian.

  • 7:57 what's that's crossing the pillars at the top?

  • 0:50 Persepolis was not built by slaves! =)

  • Where is Darius right now ,please God send another Darius for our time .

  • the fire is debatable. maybe accidental? no one will ever know.

  • what was his legacy? His cultural achievements? His legal contributions? Human rights? He was nothing more than an able general, albeit with respect towards Persian culture, but a warmonger and a butcher nonethelss with no plans other than conquering, slaughtering, conquering and slaughtering more.

There is more attached to the title "the Great" than merely killing people you know.

  • No, Alexander was not great, he should be known as Alexander the Goat !

  • Christianity had nothing to do with Greek influence. It came long afterwards aided by the Romans in the 8th or 9th Century A.D.

Greek culture of course was spread by Alexander but we Asians did not want it as we had great cultures of our own !.
