New 2010 Hermes Belt Un-Boxing

Hello boys and girls! I recently purchased another Hermes belt. The strap I got this time is Etoupe (grey) with Chocolate brown on the reverse side. The H buckle is made of silver palladium metal and has an enamel surface in grey colour.

At least i can wear this more often as the enamel is less likely to scratch than my gold ones.

I love the combination! What do you guys think? like or dislike? let me know... x

btw i didnt realize that the belts are preboxed. i assumed you choose the leather and the buckle you desire and they then package it up for you!

@bendgamo80 .. The leather straps are preboxed according to size. When you coose the buckle they open the box (which is sometimes sealed in plastic).. they then place the buckle inside which comes in the Etoile (beige) dustbag.. :-)

hey again. so your saying that you can request the new style box technically wherever you end up buying it? its good to have to keep the belt in if you dont wear it always. also do you know what the customer service is like if you have any issues with the belt later on?

@bendgamo80 Hi, no you cannot request which box you get. You simply get the one which the belt comes in. But as far as i know, all the new belts come in the new box with the brown velvet inlay. Hermes is very good for repairs/problems as they are a proper luxury brand unlike some others out there. But as with everything, there is most likely to be a charge. I had my gold buckle scratched so they sent it off to Paris for me to get the scratch removed but i had to pay.

@macythor hi there, Aww i feel for you. The velvet interior for the box was introduced late 2010. All the boxes before that only had white tissue inside. If you have seen any posts with an authenticity card this is a fake counterfeit belt. Hermes do not issue authenticity cards for any of their products. If you see an orange card, you will immediately know it is fake. thanks for watching :-)
