This is my 30th Falconer Lyric Video, and do I have a special one for you.

I am proud to present Per Tyrssons Döttrar i Vänge, the Bonus track from the First Falconer album. I have had quite a few request for this song, and have been lazy and put it off but now here it is. It is a very hard song to find, and it was also fairly tricky for doing the video (It took me the beter part of three days to make sure everything was good).

As always with Falconer's Swedish songs, I put the Swedish Lyrics in the middle and the English Lyrics at the bottom as a subtitle. Thanks to Mathias Blad (Lead Singer) for the Translation of the Swedish Lyrics.

Note: you may notice the credits at the end are slightly different then my other Falconer Lyric Videos, that is because the song title "Per Tyrssons Döttrar i Vänge" would not fit in the one I like to use. So I had to make do.

Please Enjoy, and if you like what you hear go out and buy their CD's

  • Wait, Matthias Blad personally translated the lyrics for you, or they were in the booklet?

That first one would be amazing.

  • @Raventoll While that first one would indeed be amazing, the Translation was done by Mathias and I just used the translation, he did not to the translation specifically for me.

  • I first heard about this song thanks to Ingmar Bergman's superb movie The Virgin Spring. Since then I love Falconer and Bergman's movies.

  • This song is 600-700 years old!

  • ide golic zyly

  • @Transparentcriminal the first ("oh how chilly their woods") is just a glorified version of the third ("their forest was cold"). a mot-a-mot translation would be "cold was their forest"

  • @Transparentcriminal

The first or second option work equally well

  • That's what happens when you kick your sons out as soon as their balls drop...

  • This song is amazing.

  • @RevolverDahmer

Yeah, you got the story of this medieval ballad :)

  • Great song, and Swedish is amazing language - so impressive, virile and sexual. It's pity majority Swedish rock&metal bands neglect it and prefer sing English.
