I'm going through a bunch of B.S. with PayPal right now too...thousands of dollas taken from my checking and credit card acounts causing me to bounce checks for little things like my mortgage, car payments and utilities and trying to get all the overdraft fees from my bank revrsed. Does paypal care? hell no. My latest phone coversation ended in them saying "There's nothing we can do, its an automated process." This is a criminal enterprise and needs to be shut down. Ebay as well!

You might want to try actually buying the product and having it on hand before you list it for sale on eBay. Then you wouldn't get claims because you'd be shipping right away and you wouldn't have to worry about using your customers money to place orders. Paypal isn't the problem here, the whiny little boy in the mirror is the problem.

I agree with you... PayPal is a faceless money grabbing bastard of a "company" and they don't even take E.U directives seriously. Their Nigerian telephone support workers are usually very helpful though.

@RATED4EVER According to their CSR, you're not allowed to send money as a gift unless you're a non-profit. If you're helping a sick cat it's good, but if you're helping another human being the account can be frozen. They force you to return the money, but they get to keep their cut.
