  • or you could put your finger thru the center hole , and clean it with the other hand

  • Your method of record cleaning might be practical for a DJ in a booth. But in this way, all you're really doing is spreading debris around, and embedding it further into the grooves without extracting it. A wise investment for any record collector is the purchase of one of the many vacuum record cleaning machines available on the market today... the VPI 16.5 Record Cleaner is a reasonably cheap place to start, and a fantastic machine. Recently I picked up a Nitty Gritty 2.5 Fi-XP..a Godsend.

  • The way I clean records is by placing it on top of a fleece sweater on a table, using a pump spray such as Pfanstiehl record cleaner (they're great to use and inexpensive, probably cost $6-7 a bottle) and two record cleaning brushes, one to wet-clean the record and another to dry-clean it. Make sure you clean off the dirt and dust on the sweater before trying this.

  • rock out!!!

  • And yet it's OK to put yer grubby, yeasty, and OILY paw prints on the actual vinyl instead, like you just did?

So far, everything that "expertvillage" says is very stupid and wrong!

  • Why is expert village so awful? Quit flooding youtube with poorly-made, uninformative minute long videos!
