Having been a HUGE Rush fan before discovering the Grateful Dead, seeing this video warms my heart. I talked to John during a setbreak at a DSO Starland Ballroom show in NJ several years ago. We talked shop & he told me he loved Alex Lifeson and Mahavishnu Orchestra (among others) and was a huge fan of Neil Peart's lyrics, as am I.

His talent is awesome and he's one hell of a nice guy too :)

I've seen John play many times and he always amazes me with his versatility. Playing a Rush cover tune 'furthur' exemplifies this. Way to go john. You sound great!!!!

He's too good of a singer for all those people to be talking through his performance.. I always hate that! Show some respect for who's on stage! Great voice he has, beautiful lyrics and nice aoustic guitar.... I just wish ppl would shut up! I know its inevitable singing in a situation like this, but still! Nice work John!
