so you think this is easy? Do you have any idea what you are talking about? all this surgery does is limit your portion sizes. I still have to make smart food choices and exercise. do you think I haven't tried other diets? I had surgery because I have failed at other diets. your assertion that this is easy speaks volumes as to how little you know about this process.

Wow....I've just watched a few of your videos in reverse order - starting with Week 63 & ending with this 1. Your transformation is incredible...simply incredible - Well Done !!

Ok...thanks. I thought it was gastric bypast..my apology.

I experienced zero pain. I never took any pain medication after surgery. the only discomfort I had was from the uncomfortable hospital bed and that passed in a few days. I did not have the gastric bypass. I had the vertical sleeve gastrectomy or VSG. exercise alone will not work, even with surgery. exercise must be a part of your life or you will regain the weight. the surgery is just a tool, and a tool must be used or it is worthless.

Well Mark, many told me the aftermaths of getting gastric bypass alone and it was very painful than if anyone was to just workout and eat less alone.
It took getting the surgery to help you eat less and workout? Was it extremity painful..very excruciating? I remember when I started my weight loss program at 350 pounds (exercise alone) it was pure torture during my first month and i can imagine the excruciating pain if I was to get the surgery done.
At least you reached your goal
mark are you in uk? if you dont mind me asking!

Mark, you are brave and well-spoke. I applaud you. Funny, if there was a type of brain surgery that helped alcoholics, no one would assert it's an easy way out, saying, hey, just drink less.

@baystategal Thank you for watching and for your kind words. This surgery was my last, best hope to get my health back. I'm happy to report that going on 3 years, it was a total success. I have maintained my goal weight for over a year and continue to get healthier and stronger by the day.
