  • I have a cottage up by Lake Erie in Conneaut and just between Route 11 and the Ohio/Pennsylvania border I can think of atleast 3 different tributaries that have steelhead! Not counting the tiny streams that run into the lake that people have seen trout hopping up.

  • darkes taught me in a fly fishing class and had a great time too. caught bunch of rainbow trout

  • Getting the boat ready this weekend, saving up for some waders, too. I can't wait! Caught a beautiful king salmon off the T'rivers pier last summer. This time of year, though, metal heads rule!

  • heading up to the PM and the Betsy in a month for spring steelhead, this will be my 3rd ghost adventure and i am really stoked to get back in the river after a long layoff.

  • Buen canal

  • Hi Patagonia,

I would like to fish some of your tribs one day.

I go mostly to Erie PA but your creeks looks fine too.

I made 2 small shorts from Erie tribs recently, mid of Nov.

  • Nice fish !

  • I'm sure there's plenty of fly-fishermen out there that have practically had their rods ripped from their hands as a steely attacks a streamer on the swing. Nothing like it! Yeah, some guys lift, but that's not my problem. I feel bad that they can't enjoy the fierce take of a hungry steely!!

  • Man, I just stumbled into this place and read the commentary. Lotta hate and discontent. Fishslayer could do with a beer.

  • I'm not here to argue with another fisherman. You like fishing, I like fishing, if we can't respect each other, lets respect the fish. Any guide teaching that technique should be ashamed.
