12 Best in shows now :-) Hey DogNerd, she was VERY young the first time she went to Westminster. Having played with this dog in person and seen her an various shows since Westminster I can assure you, her temperament is NOT an issue! I am very critical of the amstaff temperament and I'd be the first to say if it was a problem. In Maddy's case, her temperament is rock solid! She's seen a WHOLE lot more since this day!

@TheDogNerd I find it interesting that you are able to determine this bitch's temperament from a 60 second clip. This bitch is ROCK SOLID. She took 11 Best In Shows last year, breaking a 20 year record in Am Staff bitches. She has never before and never since exhibited any apprehension during an examination. We must remember that these are DOGS, they can't verbalize their thoughts or concerns. You statement couldn't be further from the truth.

actually this dog has an AMAZING temperament, which obviously shows seeing as she is the #1 am staff in the country and #6 terrier. She is also the top winning Am Staff bitch of all time. She currently has 11 BIS under her belt and she is only 2 years old.

@LordGandor3 The staff is to loyal to its owner. That is a fault when picking best in show. I doubt it will every happen unless the handler turns and the Staff shows off to the judge.

I`m an AmStaff enthusiast, would a judge ever pick an AmStaff for best in show or are they prejudice against the breed ?
